Visitor attractions in the vicinity of Ryvoan Lodge are plentiful. The annual husky dog sleigh race at Loch Morlich is well worth watching. A must-attend if on holiday at the Lodge in August. The Highland Games have taken place in Nethy Bridge since 1880 and are held annually on the 2nd Saturday of August.
Landmark Forest Adventure Park
Situated in Carrbridge this is a family friendly park for all ages and includes a raft ride, rollercoaster, maze, climbing wall and highwire course.
Breweries and Distilleries
The River Spey is famous for its whisky and numerous distilleries may be visited locally. Check out the Malt Whisky Trail.
There is also the Cairngorm Brewery in Aviemore or you might want to check out the local Kinara and Caorunn gins.
Castle Roy in Nethy bridge is an 11th century fortress but travel a short distance and you can visit: Ballindalloch, Cawdor or Brodie castles.
